Meet Zoe, Kanuka’s Newest Digital Account Executive

It’s been 3 months since I joined the Kanuka team as a Digital Account Executive and I can’t quite believe where the time has gone. 

Starting mid-way through the COVID-19 lockdown has felt somewhat strange to say the least. So far, I have only met with two colleagues, Joe and Chris. They took me through the general on-boarding process, Kanuka’s clients and the new projects I’d be working on.  

You’ll have probably guessed that since my initial meeting, working for Kanuka has all been online! Despite this, we communicate on a daily basis whether through Slack or a Zoom meeting. Although I’m looking forward to the day where I can officially meet the whole team!

Prior to landing this new role at Kanuka, I had previously worked at another agency specialising in social media management. Changing to such a diverse role at Kanuka has really given me the opportunity to build on new skills in areas of interest such as SEO, content marketing and email marketing

It’s fair to say that during these three months I’ve been given various tasks that have pushed me to broaden my knowledge in all areas of marketing. From building multiple email campaigns, writing my first technical blog and learning the fundamentals of SEO, there’s not been a dull day yet.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first few months working at Kanuka and I’m excited to see how I can develop in my role in the years to come.
