Background

 

Xpress Centres offer convenient, affordable and high-quality same-day vehicle repairs at Tesco Extra stores across the UK. With ambitious growth targets, they were looking for a PPC partner to generate new leads for their existing centres and accelerate their nationwide expansion.

Our Approach

 

While Xpress Centres were already running active campaigns for a handful of their centres, we identified some significant opportunities to improve performance.

 

Our first focus was on the structure of the campaigns, – we broke these down into location and repair-type specific ad groups which allowed us to serve up ads that were much more relevant to user’s search queries. After successfully implementing this across eight Xpress Centres, we were then able to roll out to multiple new Centres each month.

What We Did

 

  • Enabled advanced goal tracking to measure quote requests, email enquiries, newsletter signups and phone calls
  • Increase campaign budgets which were limiting performance
  • Introduced device specific bid strategies for desktop v mobile users
  • A/B tested ad text and introduced more ad variations
  • Implemented enhanced cost-per-click strategies
  • Identified opportunities to re-design and optimise the website landing page experience
