Inspired by beauty since 1968, Mohd is one of the worldwide leading companies in luxury furniture and design. Their mission is to help and inspire people to live and work in beauty, with authentic interior design items at a competitive price.
Having already expanded from Italy to sell across Europe, the US and Australia through their Magento store, Mohd came to Kanuka Digital with a clear brief; to grow brand awareness and sell their products to their currently untapped UK market.
Short term: To increase online visibility from the ground up of the UK store through SEO and Paid acquisition channels.
Long term: To generate £1m in online sales in the first 12 months.
Running as a store view off their main Magento installation, the site needed optimising for the UK market. Starting with a full technical audit and keyword research around Mohd’s key product categories and brands, we made sure the site was being indexed correctly and would start to rank for their priority search terms.
Once the foundations were in place, we shifted focus onto their on-site content including style guides and blogs and ran a competitor backlink audit that allowed us to gain some invaluable, quality backlinks from high authority domains.
On the Paid Search side, we worked backwards from their revenue goals and budgets to determine where best the money should be invested. We worked on striking a winning balance between both top and bottom of the funnel campaigns spanning Google Shopping, Google Search, Facebook & Instagram retargeting and brand awareness campaigns.
